Stepping Stones is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic residential environment where children and adolescents can heal, grow, and reach their fullest potential. Through trauma-informed, clinically guided, and evidence-based care, we support youth in developing the emotional, behavioral, and life skills needed for stability, independence, and long-term well-being.
We believe that individualized care, delivered with compassion and structure, fosters resilience, self-worth, and hope. Our work is grounded in collaboration with families, licensed professionals, and community partners to support meaningful growth and successful transitions to less restrictive settings.
Our values reflect the principles that guide our culture, decision-making, and commitment to the children and families we serve.
We believe every child deserves to feel physically and emotionally safe. Safety is the foundation that allows trust, healing, and growth to occur.
We treat every child with dignity, fairness, and compassion. We honor each individual’s voice, identity, and lived experience.
We believe in the potential of every child. Even in challenging moments, we remain focused on possibility, progress, and positive change.
We are committed to ethical practice, honesty, and accountability in all aspects of our work. We hold ourselves to high professional standards.
We recognize the responsibility entrusted to us when caring for children. We approach our work with consistency, reliability, and thoughtful decision-making.
We value personal development for the children we serve and for our team. We support learning, resilience, and continuous improvement.
We believe meaningful outcomes are achieved through shared responsibility and mutual respect with families, professionals, and community partners.

Our approach is grounded in care that is thoughtful, structured, and responsive to each child’s needs:
We believe healing happens best in environments built on trust, structure, and compassion

We serve children and adolescents ages 10–17 who experience mental health or behavioral health challenges and require out-of-home placement in a structured, therapeutic residential setting.
The youth we support benefit from consistent supervision, trauma-informed care, and individualized therapeutic support. Our program is designed to help young people stabilize, build coping and life skills, and work toward successful transitions to family or less restrictive environments.
Care is tailored to each child’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, with an emphasis on safety, growth, and long-term well-being.

We are committed to providing care that is safe, respectful, and clinically guided. Our team prioritizes emotional and physical safety, consistent supervision, and individualized support while working toward positive transitions and long-term stability for each youth

Our program is supported by a trained residential care team and licensed clinical professionals who bring experience, compassion, and dedication to their work with children and adolescents. Team members receive ongoing training and supervision to ensure high-quality care.
